LAKSHADWEEP

Bangaram is a small, uninhabited island near Agatti and Kavaratti in Lakshadweep, known for its peaceful resort and glowing beaches at night due to phosphorescent plankton. Visitors can reach Bangaram by boat or helicopter from Agatti.

Agatti Island, with its beautiful lagoon and airport, is the main gateway to Lakshadweep, offering flights from Kochi.

Kavaratti, the capital of Lakshadweep, features narrow sandy beaches, vibrant lagoons, and numerous mosques, including the historic Ujra Mosque. Kavaratti is a hub for water sports and marine activities, with facilities like the Dolphin Dive Centre and an aquarium showcasing diverse marine life.

PONDICHERRY

Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. A seaside promenade runs along the Bay of Bengal and passes several statues, including a 4m-high Gandhi Memorial.

CHHATTISGARH

ODISHA

Odisha (previously Orissa), an eastern Indian state on the Bay of Bengal, is acknowledged for its tribal cultures and countless ancient Hindu temples. Odisha is also famous for its heritage sites and enthralling views. The capital, Bhubaneswar, is home to hundreds of temples, notably the intricately carved Mukteshvara. RAJASTHAN

Rajasthan is a state in northern India. It is the largest Indian state by area and the seventh largest by population. Jaipur, also called the Pink City, is the capital of the royal state of Rajasthan. Along with Delhi and Agra, Jaipur forms the Golden Triangle and hails as one of the most famous tourist circuits in the country. Udaipur, also known as the City of Lakes, is one of Rajasthan’s most visited tourist places. Jaisalmer is a prominent tourist spot located in India’s northwestern state of Rajasthan. It is known as the ‘golden city’ due to its golden dunes and castles clad in golden honey sandstone. Jaisalmer is adorned with lakes, ornate Jain temples, and Havelis. Jodhpur is the second-largest city in Rajasthan and the former capital of the Marwar region.
